Discover more about English

My name is Jack Gilbey and I created this blog to share my experience on learning languages, focusing on helping those learning English as a foreign language.
With more than 9 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language, I have developed my method to both fit the needs of the student and to follow best practice and current developments in the field of English language learning.
I am from South West England.

I have taught learners of more than 40 different nationalities, having taught English as a foreign language in Belgium, Poland, the UK and France.
In addition to my BA degree in Spanish and French, and my master's degree in Conference in Interpreting, I have a CELTA certificate of teaching.

I am currently accepting adults for 1-1 online language coaching on their English.
